The Polish-American Freedom Foundation and University of Warsaw School of Education announced enrollment of students for a year-long course for future Polish and mathematics teachers. The enrollment of candidates for the 2017/18 academic year will last until March 31, 2017.

After the day-long contest at the district stage we now know the list of 50 young economists who will compete for admission to the public economic universities and prizes in the finals on April 6. The best young economists were selected from among over 1,000 senior high school students who took part in the district qualifying round.

On February 16, 2017 Teatr Kamienica in Warsaw was the venue of a gala summing up the 9th edition of the “Act Locally” Program. It was also the occasion to present awards in the “Tell me about…” and “Civic Leader of the Year 2016” competitions. The first one was organized for the “Act Locally” Program participants, and another one – by Newsweek Polska weekly.

Almost 100 representatives of 67 Act Locally Centers from all over Poland cooperating within the ALC Network took part in a "New ideas, practical solutions" training session in Warsaw. The meeting marked the inauguration of the 10th edition of the “Act Locally” Program.
