2017 summer internships for students in the USA - enrollment

The applications of the candidates for the next edition of the Polish-American Internship Initiative – a program of summer internships for Polish students in prestigious American companies – can be submitted now. The offers of internships in Archer Daniels Midland Company and Pittsburgh Glass Works are available on the PAII website. Students who want to do their internship in the USA during the 2017 vacation shall submit applications online by December 22, 2016.

The first stage of the Entrepreneurship Olympics is over

Over 15,500 students from almost one thousand secondary high schools took part in the first stage of the 12th round of the Entrepreneurship Olympics that was held on December 1. The slogan of this round of the Olympics is “Leadership in Business”. This huge group of young enthusiasts of entrepreneurship had to do a test checking their knowledge in economy, management, psychology and business practice. PAFF is the strategic partner of the Olympics.

700 scholarships for the first year of studies were received by students from villages and small towns, from low income families, who started full-time studies this year. The ceremony of the 15 th edition of the Bridge Scholarships Program inauguration took place on November 23 in Warsaw.

The fall series of the “PAFF Local Partnerships” Program workshops closed on November 8 with the meeting of representatives of three partnerships from Wielka Wieś, Złotoryja, Myślenice and Dobczyce communes. During the meeting the participants learned how to build partner cooperation based on effective communication.

On November 22, 2016, Andrew Nagorski, an American writer and Chairman of the PAFF Board of Directors visited the PAFF and UW School of Education. He attended Polish studies classes and had a meeting with students and staff of the school.
